Guoxin Tendering Group , Sedgman& BCB Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement in Beijing, China

Press release & Strategic partnership agreement signing ceremony between Guoxin Tendering Group Co. Ltd. of China and Sedgman Group of Australia had been held in Beijing, China on March 10th, 2014. According to the agreement, Guoxin Tendering Group shall be the tendering, purchasing and advisory general agency of Sedgman Group in China and provide bidding procurement service on mining industry, etc. in a long term.

Ltd. and Russell Kempnich, Chairman of Sedgman Group both pointed out that this cooperation would have milestone significance in enhancing economic exchanges and cooperation between China and Australia and promote Australian commercial organizations to enter China market as well as Chinese enterprises to go abroad. It also has strategic importance in strengthening the competiveness of EPC, engineering bidding procurement service and market exploitation on mining projects for both sides and brunching the business out.

Sedgman Group is a leading company in global mining resources EPC development. It occupies over 50% market share in construction and operation of large coal mining projects in Australia. The Total value of AUD$ 5.7 billion business opportunity in mineral processing and industrial pipeline procurement shall be provided to the world in the future.

With the development and prosperity of Chinese economy, Sedgman limited company has shifted its focus on EPC cooperation and large heavy equipment procurement towards China in recent years. In 2013, they purchased more than AUD 150 million from China. Chinese large heavy equipment and coal mining equipment suppliers such as Sany Group, Schenck Process GmbH and John Finlay Group had been the early birds who caught the chance of negotiating with Guoxin Group and had become the participants and facilitators of this event.
